Why can’t we keep it a secret? – Survivor Blood vs. Water – TV Show Review

Alright I know that I’ve touched on this before but now I’m really starting to get upset by this. Why can’t anyone on this show keep a secret immunity idol a secret? Like shut up people! No one needs to know you have idol unless you’re a pair (family or relationship). Those should be the only people you tell.

However I really want to stress that you shouldn’t say anything to begin with. It’s called a secret idol for a reason people! They’re meant to help you, not be used against you. Once someone finds out, they want to blindside you or flush the idol out. This is why you keep it quiet!

This is my biggest pet peeve with the show. I know that people want to prove they’re trustworthy and things but really it always works against you. You shouldn’t need to share that you have an idol to prove yourself to your alliance. If that’s the case you really need to rethink the one you’ve got!

Please for the love of God, keep the secret immunity idol a secret!

  1. It drives me nuts too! Maybe they should test out a new rule that if you tell anyone about the idol, it becomes void. That would really make everyone paranoid. Also, I wish that they would show us how long the contestants spend looking before finding them. It seems that the idols are increasingly easy to find. It’s still my favorite show, but they need to shake things up.

  2. I am really impressed with your writing skills and also with the layout on your weblog.
Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?

Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to see a great
    blog like this one today.
