Alright so I want to begin by saying that I haven’t watched any of the episodes from season 5. I basically kind of gave up on watching this show “live” after season 3. I just strictly buy and watch them on DVD now. However that doesn’t mean I don’t see the posts about what is going on, because I do. I have kept up with this season and all of the things going on.

First of all we know that Alison is back and her lying has caught up with her. She’s going to be put on trail and the other four girls, Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily are doing what they can to help her. They are however starting to see all of the problems they are having when it comes to Alison too. The boys are also starting to team up and fight with each other too. So much drama to keep up with.

Second Mona is killed off. Well lets just say when this show decides to kill people off you need to remember they’re never actually dead. It’s aw Soap Opera for the younger generation. Seriously. I have learned through all of my years of watching TV and loving shows that unless you see the body, including the face, someone can in fact not actually be dead. So it shouldn’t be surprising that Mona is actually alive at the end of this fifth season. She along with the other girls are being held hostage in a “doll house” by “A”. Yes those damn dolls just keep getting creepier.

But of course this episode was promised to be a reveal of the BIG “A”. Yes the one in charge of all of the “A” and the one who is the most dangerous to the girls and the town of Rosewood. Yes we waited five season, five years for this right? Well lets me honest here folks, unless this show is going to end you are not going to be given the “Big A”. Okay now that I’ve stated this that doesn’t mean the writers aren’t going to tell you who it is. Yes you can get a name but a face, forget about it. Seriously don’t even think it’s possible. But how did we reveal and figure it out, check out below:

Charlies DiLaurentis. That is who “A” is. Okay so lets just figure this out quickly. There’s another sibling to Alison, Jason and Spencer. The twin thing from the books, something that Marlene King said they weren’t going to do but wow look here it is. So now you need to remember that whatever she says or whomever from this show take the opposite at this point right? Okay maybe not all of the time but it does pose a good question if you can actually take anything to heart that they share or say.

As for Charles, he’s a twin. There’s too much of the twin played into this show. Except in the books Alison has a twin, not Jason. So this would in fact be different than the books, which this show has done several times over. I’m thinking it being Jason’s too is too obvious but this show does have a way of throwing it at you. So if it sticks with the books then the Jason the girls are seeing now is in fact Charles and the real Jason is being held somewhere right? There is another theory going around that Toby is in fact the one with the twin. The reason:

This is a bit of long shot for me but it’s a good thing to look at when you decide to go back through and see all of the little birds the writers left for you. However Marlene basically said she just came up with the idea of Charles right before the show started filming. So if these little birds have been placed in previous seasons, then in fact you can determine there may be someone else who is the “BIG A” too. The only other possibility here is that they wanted to use Courtney (Alison’s twin, books) but they decided to use a boy aka Jason’s twin in order to make things different.

Either way people were clearly expecting to see a face, not just a name. Also we’ve never met a “Charles” and so we have no frame of reference. We have no ability of knowing who this person is in fact because this is a new character being introduced to us.
